Leads for lack of a better word.  I actually met a producer Mark at Vine Entertainment the other day.  Nice guy.  Anyway, they're a small independent company looking for scripts.  Here's their contact info:

The VINE Entertainment
Attn Development
1337 Ocean Ave, Suite B
Santa Monica, CA, 90401

And no I DO NOT work for them nor am I friends with them.  I actually met with them and submitted and wanted to pass it along.  Also, I don't know much about this one but I thought I would at least share:
The Eerie Horror Film Festival has opened their 2007 call for entries and are currently seeking horror, science fiction and suspense screenplays from all over the world.

The Eerie Horror Screenplay Competition offers beginning, aspiring and veteran screenwriters in the horror genre a chance to have their work recognized by people in the industry and beyond!

The top winning screenplays will be forwarded to agents and industry professionals including horror icon Ken Foree (“Dawn of the Dead”, “Devil’s Rejects”) who will be personally reviewing the top three winning screenplays on behalf of E&B Holdings. LLC.

A special student screenplay competition has been added for young writers ages 10 - 17. Students in this age group can also enter at a reduced rate.

Cash prizes and awards will be presented for the winners in best short, feature length and student categories!

Screenplay winners will be announced no later than September 5, 2007.

Since 2004 the Eerie Horror Film Festival has screened over 150 films and has featured appearances by Tony Todd (Candyman), PJ Soles (Halloween), Gunnar Hansen (Texas Chainsaw Massacre '74), Lloyd Kaufman (Troma), Eugene Clark (Land of the Dead), Joe Pilato (Day of the Dead), Lynn Lowry (The Crazies), Tom Atkins (Halloween III), Charles Cyphers (Halloween), Nancy Loomis(Halloween), Alex Vincent (Child's Play), Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick (The Omen '06), Brian Andrews (Halloween), Mark Borchardt (American Movie), John Hancock (Let's Scare Jessica to Death), Dorothy Tristan (screenwriter), Mark Steensland (The Gospel According to Philip K. Dick), Sean David Morton (Joe Killionaire), Len Kabasinski (Swamp Zombies), Jamien Snow (author), Greg Lamberson (Slime City), Debbie Rochon (Hellblock 13), Michael Stanley (Attack of the Beast Creatures), actress Pam Sutch and many, many more!

This year's festival takes place October 10 - 14, 2007 at the Erie Playhouse in downtown Erie, Pa. (USA) and features five solid days of independent horror, science fiction and suspense films along with special celebrity guests and industry professionals!

See website for complete deadline and entry fee information.
