What services should I expect from an agent or manager?

How do I know if my agent/manager is doing a good job?

In the feature world an agent should be sending out your spec to be sold or sending out your material for assingments.  A manager should help you develop relationships around town and also help you develop your script until it's ready for the marketplace.  They should also guide your career a little more than an agent.
