It appears my screenplay, Dead Meat, made the Quarter Finals in the Fade In Contest. This is odd because it's a punk noir set in the corrupt world of the fast food industry. But I think because of its political content it validated the story and characters to a degree.

I doubt I'll win the big prize, but now I'm legit to some extent. Now, all I have to do is sell something.

http://fadeinonline.com/Contests/2003_SWA_Quarter.html. Just search for Davetas, Philip. I believe I'm 131.

Actually, I don't know. According to the site, all the people progressing on to the next stage should've been notified back in January. The "winners" should've been announced on February 15, but only the Quarter-finals were announced Saturday or late Friday night. So, I'm totally in the dark as to where and when the Semis are gonna be announced.

Oh, and thanks.

I think some time this weekend. I got a letter saying that Semis should be announced by April 1, 2007.
